Vineyard
The vineyards are located on clay-limestone and molasse soils of Fronsac. This terroir is known for powerful yet fresh Merlot with great aromatic depth. The average vine age is mature, with relatively low yields for concentration. Biodiversity and soil life are actively stimulated through organic practices. The microclimate ensures ripe fruit while maintaining tension.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and strictly selected per plot. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats with gentle extraction to preserve elegance. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and then partially matures in French oak barriques (with a proportion of new wood). Deliberate limited extraction is used to maintain finesse and balance. The result is an expressive yet silky style with a clear focus on fruit and freshness.

Château de La Dauphine
Frankrijk · Bordeaux
