Vineyard
The vineyards are located in a hilly landscape, stretching between 350 and 480 meters in altitude. The soil consists of shale, locally known as `le galestro`, and clay and limestone. The vines have an average age of 20 years and yield 30 hl per hectare. The vineyards are cultivated in an environmentally responsible manner.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and undergo a double selection. The long vinification, with a one-month maceration, takes place in concrete vats where the juice is regularly pumped over. The wine matures for 12 months, with about 15% in large foudres (from Slavonia) and the remainder in concrete vats.

Tenuta Casenuove
