Vineyard
The vineyards are located in Canale and Montà d'Alba. The soil is marl-rich with a high sand content, typical of Roero. The vines are trained using the Guyot system and are harvested manually in crates. The early harvest in October helps to preserve Barbera's natural freshness.
Vinification
Short maceration of the skins for about a week, with daily pump-overs. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine further matured for approximately 8 months in stainless steel tanks. There is no wood aging, which preserves the fruity and fresh character of Barbera.

Giacomo Barbero
