Vineyard

The grapes come from a poor 28-are vineyard in the hamlet of Les Diognières in Hermitage. This sloping vineyard is south-facing. The soil consists of clay and limestone. The average age of the vines is 40 years, and there are approximately 6,000 vines per hectare.

Vinification

The harvesting is done manually and the bunches go in small crates to the wine cellar. Here they undergo an additional selection and are destemmed. With the help of gravity, they are placed in concrete vats where the co-fermentation and maceration begins. The remontage and pigeage techniques are applied here. The wine matures for 12 months in demi-muids, 20% of which are new.

Hun wijngaarden liggen voornamelijk op de historische graniethellingen in het noorden van de appellatie, waar oude wijnstokken en een uitzonderlijk terroir zorgen voor verfijnde en karaktervolle wijnen.
