Vineyard

The vineyard is located 40 km north of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and is planted with old Syrah and Grenache vines that are about 90 years old. The gravelly soil with many alluvial deposits originates from the Quaternary period. The vineyard, situated at an altitude of 300 meters, is terraced. This high elevation provides a cooler climate, making it ideal for Syrah.

Vinification

The bunches are picked by hand and destemmed upon arrival at the winery. Fermentation and maceration take place in conical wooden vats. The pigeage technique is applied, and the juice is regularly pumped over. At the end of this process, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures for another 18 months.
