Vineyard
The grapes come from the Premstallerhof, a recognized cru vineyard in Santa Maddalena. Located at an altitude of 450 to 550 meters around Bolzano, with an ideal exposure. The soils consist of sandy porphyry, which ensures finesse and minerality. The grapes are harvested manually and processed separately by plot. This terroir produces concentrated but elegant wines.
Vinification
After fermentation in concrete tanks, the wine matures for several months in large wooden barrels. This ageing gives structure without overpowering the fruit. The Schiava retains its elegance, while Lagrein adds extra grip and depth. The vinification is done with great precision and parcel selection. The result is a refined yet complex red wine.
