Vineyard

The vineyards are located on the plateau 170 metres above Lake Neusiedl. The gravelly topsoil rests on a subsoil of sand, loam and limestone. The 26 to 36-year-old vines yield 35 hl per hectare.

Vinification

The vinification takes place using the 'maceration carbonique' method. After this, it matures for another 10 months in used 228-liter barrels.
