Vineyard

The bunches come from a parcel in Altenberg. The soil consists of clay and limestone. The 22 to 31-year-old vines yield 25 hl per hectare.

Vinification

The bunches are picked by hand. Co-fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel tanks. After this, it matures for 16 months in used small barriques. Finally, it matures for another 10 months in 12 hl oak barrels.
