Vineyard

The grapes come from parcels in Ungerberg, Altenberg, Seufertsberg, Spiegel, Goldberg, Schafleiten and Zwicklacker. The various soil structures include black earth, clayey sand, red gravel and limestone. The vines, which are between 18 and 59 years old, yield 35 hl per hectare.

Vinification

The bunches are hand-picked. The co-fermentation and maceration take 17 days. Finally, it ages for another 17 months in barriques, 10% of which are new.
