The bunches come from a parcel in Altenberg. The soil consists of clay and limestone. The 22 to 31-year-old vines yield 25 hl per hectare.

Vinification

The bunches are hand-picked. The co-fermentation and maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks. After this, it ages for 16 months in previously used small barriques. Finally, it ages for another 10 months in 12 hl oak barrels.
