Vineyard
The vineyard is located in the low-lying part of Vacqueyras. The soil originated in the Miocene epoch and consists of safre (agglomerated silty clay), sandstone, and marl.
Winemaking
The organically grown grapes are hand-picked. After pressing the best grapes, fermentation follows, which is exclusively initiated by indigenous yeasts. This process takes place in two 500-liter oak barrels that are being used for the 4th time. Malolactic fermentation and maturation occur in these same barrels and in one Wineglobe. The annual production is less than 1,000 bottles.

Domaine Montvac
