The vines thrive on very steep, south-facing slopes overlooking the Moselle. The soil consists of slate. Cultivation is carried out in an ecologically responsible manner. Yields are well controlled.

Winemaking

The bunches are picked by hand. After a short maceration, the pressing follows, after which fermentation starts due to the indigenous yeasts. This process and the subsequent maturation take place in small stainless steel tanks. It contains 4.6 grams of residual sugar per liter.
