Vineyard
The wines come from various plots around Saumur (including communes such as Varrains / Saumur), with vineyards of varying ages (some up to >70-year-old vines for certain plots). The soils are typically porous tuffeau limestone, which ensures good drainage and a mineral undertone in the wines.
Vinification
All grapes are fully destemmed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, short maceration (approx. 8–10 days) with light remontage/pumping over to preserve fruit. Ageing is done mainly in stainless steel with a portion in small wooden tanks for 3–4 months, often on fine lees.

Domaine des Roches Neuves
Frankrijk · Loire
