Vineyard
The soil of this vineyard consists of heavy clay with a high proportion of limestone. Its unique location in a valley near the Swiss border provides for southerly currents that bring in warm Mediterranean air.
Winemaking
The grapes are lightly crushed upon arrival at the winery, after which they undergo a short maceration. The must is placed in stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place at relatively low temperatures. The wine ripens for several months on the lees, after which it is bottled after a light filtration. It contains 0.3 grams of residual sugar per liter.
