The grapes come from 25-year-old vines that thrive on several plots in La Rouge and Le Larret. They total 2.5 hectares. The soil consists of 'argile rouge' with a dominance of clay and marl. The plots are oriented south/southeast. The yield is 45 hl per hectare.

Vinification

The hand-picked grapes undergo cold maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks for several days. After this, the wine ages in stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes light filtration before bottling.

Het verhaal van Domaine Désiré Petit begint in 1932 in het Jura-dorp Pupillin, de historische bakermat van de Ploussard. Sindsdien groeide het familiedomein uit van 1,5 naar 27 hectare, verspreid over de appellaties Arbois, Côtes du Jura en Château-Chalon. Vandaag leiden Damien en Anne-Laure Petit het domein, waar traditie en innovatie hand in hand gaan en de rijke wijncultuur van de Jura alle ruimte krijgt.
