Vineyard
The grapes come from a mere 0.35-hectare plot with slopes of 30% to 40%. The vineyard, which is surrounded by woods, consists of granite. The densely planted vineyard holds about 7,300 vines per hectare. The average age of the vines is 9 years, and they benefit from a south-southeast orientation.
Winemaking
After manual harvesting and pressing, fermentation takes place, initiated by the indigenous yeasts. The 11-month maturation on full lees occurs in foudres. It contains 2.2 grams of residual sugar per liter.
