Vineyard
The Sprinzenberg vineyard has belonged to the same family for generations and is located directly next to the estate. The soil consists of highly weathered crystalline granulite, thinly covered with sandy elements. This extremely poor soil forces the vines to root deeply, resulting in low yields and a pronounced mineral expression.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested manually at the end of September and transported to the cellar in small crates. After a gentle pressing of whole clusters, a slow fermentation follows. The wine then undergoes extended aging on its fine lees, which provides extra texture and depth. Bottling took place in February 2025, with a focus on precision and freshness.
