Vineyard

The grapes come from Burgenland, where 2022 was characterized by a dry winter and a cool spring, which led to slow budding but without frost damage. Rain around Pentecost provided the necessary water replenishment. Thanks to warm days and cool nights in September, harvesting took place under ideal conditions. The result is elegant red wines with ripe tannins and beautiful juiciness.

Vinification

After careful manual harvesting, the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks, with 22 days of skin contact. This was followed by 23 months of ageing in used barriques, which provides structure without overpowering oak. The wine is organically and veganically produced.
