Vineyard

The vineyard is located 40 km north of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and is planted with old Syrah and Grenache vines that are about 90 years old. The gravelly soil with many alluvial deposits originates from the Quaternary period. The vineyard, situated at an altitude of 300 meters, is terraced. This high elevation provides a cooler climate, which is ideal for Syrah.

Vinification

The grapes undergo traditional vinification. 15% of the juice ages for 1 year in wooden barrels. The wine is bottled unfiltered.
