The Aligoté grapes come from limestone plots in Burgundy. The vineyards are organically farmed and harvested by hand to ensure optimal ripeness and healthy grapes.

Winemaking

After a gentle pressing, the must ferments with natural yeasts. The wine then ages on its fine lees, which gives extra texture and complexity, while retaining the fresh acidity and mineral expression of the Aligoté.

Zoals de naam van het domein al doet vermoeden, is Charlopin Tissier het gezamenlijke levenswerk van Justine Tissier en Yann Charlopin. Na hun ontmoeting tijdens hun wijnstudies in Beaune bouwden ze vanaf 2012 stap voor stap hun eigen domein uit in Morey-Saint-Denis. Hun visie steunt op drie pijlers: familiaal, traditioneel en gepassioneerd.
