Vineyard
The vineyards are located in the Atlantic sphere of influence of the Lisboa region. Cool ocean winds provide fresh acidity and aromatic finesse in the grapes. The combination of local varieties and maritime climate produces wines with lively fruitiness and elegance. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand to ensure optimal ripeness. The wine reflects the fresh and salty character of this coastal region.
Winemaking
The grapes are hand-harvested in the Atlantic region of Lisbon. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with natural yeasts. After fermentation, the wine ages for nine months in used American oak barrels. The use of older barrels ensures a subtle hint of wood without overpowering the fruit. Vinification remains as natural as possible with minimal intervention.
