The vineyard, with 62-year-old vines, is located in Wiesacker. The gravelly, dark soil consists of loamy sand. The yield is 30 hl per hectare.

Winemaking

The bunches are picked by hand. After pressing, fermentation takes place in 500-liter oak barrels. It ages for 15 months on fine lees in these same barrels. It contains 1.0 gram of residual sugar per liter.
