Vineyard
The vineyards are located on the historic gravel terraces of Pessac-Léognan, south of Bordeaux. The soils consist of a combination of deep gravel, clay, and sand, which provides excellent drainage. These terroirs ensure an exceptional balance between ripeness, freshness, and minerality. The proximity to the Atlantic Ocean contributes to a long growing season and the preservation of acidity. The white grapes belong to the most prestigious parcels of the estate.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested manually and strictly selected. The different grape varieties and plots are vinified separately. Fermentation largely takes place in French oak barrels to create extra complexity and texture. Afterwards, the wine matures for several months on its fine lees with regular bâtonnage. This results in a combination of aromatic precision, richness, and refined structure.
