Vineyard

The wine comes from the lieu-dits Les Bazils and Les Plantes, totalling 31.98 ares, with 56-year-old massal selection vines. The geological origin is Cuisian, with subsoils of sand, sandstone, clay beds and sand layers. The soils consist of calcareous brown soils on colluvium, combined with sandy, stony clay. Since 2015, the soil has been fully worked, and since 2016, the domain has been working biodynamically, without herbicides or synthetic products. Since the 2023 harvest, the domain is officially organic certified.

Al vijf generaties lang bouwt de familie Leconte aan haar champagnehuis in Troissy, in de Vallée de la Marne. Aimé Leconte legde de fundamenten met respect voor de wijngaard, terwijl zijn zoon Xavier het domein moderniseerde met nieuwe productiemiddelen en doorgedreven bodemstudies. Sinds 2015 bepaalt Alexis Leconte de koers. Na ervaring in Bourgogne en de Elzas keerde hij terug naar het familiedomein met een duidelijke ambitie: Champagnes creëren die de identiteit van elk perceel zo zuiver mogelijk weerspiegelen.
