Vineyard

This 1.20-hectare vineyard is located in Côtes de Caillot. The soil consists of the typical Marne Bleu with mainly limestone and some loam, and a lot of gravel. The vines are more than 50 years old.

Winemaking

The hand-picked grapes ripen for 12 months on the lees after fermentation. This takes place in 30 hectolitre foudres, using the ouillage technique.

Het verhaal van Domaine Désiré Petit begint in 1932 in het Jura-dorp Pupillin, de historische bakermat van de Ploussard. Sindsdien groeide het familiedomein uit van 1,5 naar 27 hectare, verspreid over de appellaties Arbois, Côtes du Jura en Château-Chalon. Vandaag leiden Damien en Anne-Laure Petit het domein, waar traditie en innovatie hand in hand gaan en de rijke wijncultuur van de Jura alle ruimte krijgt.
