Vineyard
The vineyards experienced a dry start to the growing season, followed by cool temperatures until April, which prevented late frost issues. Rainfall around Pentecost aided flowering, after which hot and dry conditions accelerated ripening. The harvest took place under ideal conditions with warm days and cool nights, which promoted aroma intensity and structure. This resulted in a wine with beautiful ripeness, freshness, and elegance.
Winemaking
The grapes are hand-selected and vinified in stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasted 21 days to achieve optimal color and tannin structure. The wine then matured for 8 months in used barriques and 300L barrels, ensuring a subtle oak influence without overpowering the fruitiness. The cuvée, consisting of Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and St. Laurent, offers an elegant balance of freshness, spice, and ripe tannins.
