Vineyard

The grapes come from the Gabarinza vineyards on the slopes of the Parndorf plateau. The south-west facing plots have a soil consisting mainly of loam, supplemented with sand and chalk. The yield is only 25 hl per hectare.

Vinification

Fermentation begins spontaneously in open wooden vats. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques. The wine matures for 20 months in barriques.
