Vineyard

The vineyards are located on deep Garonne gravel with limestone and sand subsoils typical of Margaux. The soils provide excellent drainage and elegant tannin structure. The estate is meticulously managed plot by plot, with great attention paid to the selection of Cabernet Sauvignon on the best terroirs. 2016 was a classic "perfect Bordeaux year" with a warm summer and cool nights, combining ripeness and freshness. This resulted in exceptional balance and long aging potential.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by parcel and strictly selected to ensure optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks with gentle, controlled extraction to preserve finesse. Maceration is adjusted to the ripeness level of the fruit, focusing on elegance rather than power. Aging occurs for approximately 18 months in French oak, with a high proportion of new barrels (±75%). The result is a very precise, refined Margaux style emphasizing aromatic complexity and texture.
