Vineyard
The Trousseau grapes come from a beautiful plot called `Les Grandes Gardes`. The soil, which has a light structure, shows red hues and consists mainly of clay and limestone with an sublayer of marl. The vines in this 1-hectare plot, which is oriented southwest, are about 60 years old and yield 40 hl per hectare.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested manually and selected with extreme care, ensuring that only perfectly ripe berries are retained. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in amphora. This vinification method, without wood influence, emphasizes the purity of the fruit and the terroir. Extraction remains gentle to preserve finesse and elegance. The wine is bottled with minimal intervention and without heavy filtering.

Domaine Désiré Petit
Frankrijk · Jura
