Vineyard
This wine comes from vineyards aged 41 and 71 years, spread over 12 hectares of granite soil. The vineyards are located on plots in Quinta da Leira and Tremoa, Oliveira de Barreiros, with a total area of 2 hectares. The granite soil, located at an altitude of 440 meters above sea level, is poor and contributes to the unique characteristics of the grapes.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand, with a careful selection of the best grapes. This indicates a commitment to quality in the production process. After the harvest, the wine undergoes light filtration. This approach suggests a desire to preserve natural characteristics and flavours in the wine, with minimal intervention.
