Selected parcels on poor, rocky slate soils north of Serra d’Ossa. Low yield but highly concentrated grapes. Viticulture according to a certified integrated production system, hand-picked.

Vinification

Manual harvesting and selection of Alicante Bouschet, Tinta Miúda, and Tinta Caiada. After sorting and crushing, spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation followed. The must was transferred to the vats by gravity. Post-fermentation maceration lasted a remarkable 35 days.
