Vineyard

The bunches come from parcels in Heideboden and Sechsmahdhügel. The humus-rich soil is rich in sandy loam. The vines are between 30 and 60 years old and yield only 20 hl per hectare.

Vinification

The bunches are picked by hand. Co-fermentation and maceration take 13 days and happen in stainless steel tanks. Finally, it matures for another 12 months in previously used 300-litre barriques.
